Production Operative

Best Time Limited are looking for production operatives for our busy client based in Basingstoke.

A Production Operative will be required to work in the lighting production department, assembling and wiring LED fittings.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble light fittings in accordance with BS EN 60598-1:2015.
  • Use hand and battery-operated tools; may be required to operate small machinery (training will be provided).
  • Comply with Quality, Health & Safety & ISO standards.
  • Be motivated and meet team targets.
  • Work with and as part of a team.
  • Understand and support new initiatives.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • A good understanding of manufacturing and associated techniques (5S/Lean) or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Have a good level of manual dexterity, able to assemble small components to a high standard and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Health & Safety training

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
